Qualifications: MPH/MSc in a health-related discipline. A bachelor's degree in a health-related field with 10 years of working experience is considered. There is a waiver for PhD holders on working experience.
The Institute for Health Professional Development (IHPD)-Sierra Leone seeks to serve as the professional home for healthcare and public health practice in Sierra Leone. We will support professionals across all career stages to enable them to drive healthcare and public health professions forward and achieve our mission of developing highly effective healthcare and public health practitioners for better population health outcomes
IHPD-Sierra Leone has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the African Institute of Public Health Professionals (AIPHP) to establish the Sierra Leone Chapter of AIPHP and to co-design and deliver courses targeting in-service health practitioners.
This collaboration provides an opportunity for Sierra Leonean health practitioners, scholars, and students alike to belong to the AIPHP membership in recognition of their contributions to healthcare development and safety of mankind. Key among the benefits include belonging to a regional network of health professionals; participating in capacity building and international conferences among others.

Associate membership is designed to help new graduates in health-related disciplines to succeed professionally through providing educational support resources, and networking opportunities.

Eligibility criteria:
You must be a member of the IHPD Charter in your institution
You must be committed to the IHPD Continued Professional Education Scheme (CPES) by participating in IHPD conferences and webinars.
Fellowship is designed to recognize exceptional and transformative public health practitioners. Fellowship will be conferred by the African Institute of Public Health Professionals (AIPHP). Successful fellows will have the title FAIPH (Fellow of the African Institute of Public Health) after their names.
